Alan Abarbanell, also known as Abababa, presents 'The World of Abababa' in this episode of ASL Cafe. Alan is a comedian and storyteller who focuses on his experiences of being the child of deaf adults. Alan is a veteran sign language interpreter and has lectured nationally on the issues of interpreter ethics and CODA family issues. The name for his show stems from a friend being unable to pronounce his last name.
